I try to keep the inventory on my site up to date, but sometimes items are out of stock. If I am out of stock, I will email you and offer you a substitute, refund, or estimated date of when I can get the item.
Orders: I accept payments by credit card/PayPal, money order, cashier's check or personal check. I usually ship 1-2 business days following receipt of payment. Items paid by personal check will be held for 7 - 10 days for check clearing. If you have any questions about your order, please email me at place an order, e-mail me at [email protected].
Please Note: I am sometimes traveling for various doll shows. Emails and orders may be delayed around the show dates, as I am packing and unpacking for the trip. I will do my best to let you know when there might be a delay due to my travel schedule. I update my inventory after a show, so it is possible that an order placed while I'm away may be out of stock when I get back. If you are planning to attend one of those shows, I am happy to bring orders with me.
Shipping is additional.
If you are concerned about the shipping amount shown on your invoice, please email me before paying and I will look at it. For most orders, the rates below apply.
The shipping amount is automatically calculated by the shopping cart when possible. Occasionally, the order may be too large or can not be shipped safely in a First Class padded envelope, even if that was offered as a choice. I will invoice you for the shipping difference if that happens.
On some orders (generally bulkier or heavier items or larger orders), you may see "shipping will be calculated later". In this case, I will send you a PayPal invoice for the shipping amount. If you want to know the shipping amount before placing the order, email me at [email protected] to inquire before paying.
Please make sure your PayPal shipping address is the correct address, as well as the shipping address on facetsboutique.com. I will usually create the label from facetsboutique.com, but sometimes I have to do it through the PayPal system.
Domestic US shipping:
Minimum costs are $9.25 Priority Mail or $5 padded envelope/1st class mail (with delivery confirmation). First Class Mail has tracking, but I am not responsible for lost packages, as there is no way to follow-up with a trace or insurance claim. If you are concerned about that, please choose Priority Mail.
If you choose First Class or Priority Mail Flat Rate shipping, I will not be responsible for lost packages. There is tracking available on them, but there is no way to file a claim or follow-up trace.

First Class Air Mail (non-Canada - no tracking except as noted below*) in a padded envelope $17.50 ($19.50 to Japan/Korea/Hong Kong)
Priority Mail Flat Rate Small Box (no tracking except as noted below*) is $31 to Canada and $42 to other destinations
Priority Mail with tracking starts at $56 ($40 to eastern Canada/$48 to western Canada)
Express Mail with tracking starts at $74 ($49 to Canada)
First Class Air Mail is available for items that fit and can be shipped safely in a small padded envelope and weigh under 8 ounces. Priority Mail Flat Rate is for a small box. Regular Priority Mail and EMS can be used for any size box/weight.
VAT Collection for Shipments to European Union:
As of July 1, 2021, all parcels entering the EU are subject to VAT. There is no minimum exemption. Packages sent from Facets will be charged VAT when they arrive in the EU and there may be an additional service charge from your country for processing. The service charge is usually reduced if you pay online with your country's customs office - please familiarize yourself with this process. Facets is not responsible for these additional charges and can not collect them in advance. Refusal to pay the charges upon package arrival may result in packages eventually being returned to Facets. If the package is not returned, Facets will not refund any amount on the transaction. If the package is returned, Facets will not refund shipping charges.
Please note: Most international locations include tracking for all mail classes, but First Class and Priority Mail Flat Rate do not have any kind of claim/insurance services. Although you can track them online, there is no way to follow up if they are lost or damaged in transit. If you want protection against loss/damage, items need to be sent by Priority Mail or Express Mail and the protection is for the amount insured/declared.
Returns/exchanges are accepted with prior authorization only. If you wish to return an item, you must email me at [email protected] within 7 days of receipt of the item and return it within 7 days of our agreement on terms (exchange/refund/credit).
Returns can be exchanged for other items, applied to store credit for future purchases, or refunded by credit card/PayPal with a 5% restocking fee. Store credits and exchanges do not have a restocking fee. Shipping fees are not refunded/credited. You will need to pay shipping for exchanges.
